Peanut Butter Cup Bars

I bookmarked this recipe awhile back off of the Brown Eyed Baker’s web site! She is great by the way, lots of yummy recipes. You should check her out, her link is below in my blog roll.
I kinda wish I hadn't made these amazing bars, I suggest you don’t make them!!
They are just WAY too good. Evil really...
They taste EXACTLY like a Reece's peanut butter cup. You can cut the bars as big as you want and that is a very bad thing.
They are so easy and so darned good.
If you do decide to make them be sure you have lots of friends around to share them or you will end up eating the whole batch yourself, seriously!

Ingredients:

½ cup butter (the recipe suggested unsalted but I used salted it was fine!)
1 ¾ cups powdered sugar
1 cup smooth peanut butter
¾ cup graham cracker crumbs
¼ cup butter
½ cup milk chocolate chips

First line an 11X7 inch pan with tin foil, leaving enough to hang over the sides as a sling. Then butter the foil. Set aside.
(the original recipe said to use and 8X8 pan so the bars would be a bit thicker, so just use whichever you have on hand)
In a medium saucepan, melt the ½ cup butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from the heat and stir in the powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in the peanut butter and graham cracker crumbs until completely combines and smooth. Hope you have been using your shake weight cause this mixture is really stiff and very hard to mix but keep going it will get very smooth. Spread mixture into the prepared pan and smooth off top.
Wipe out the pot you just used and put back on low heat. Melt the ¼ butter. Once it is melted add the chocolate chips and stir until just melted and smooth. Pour the chocolate mix onto the peanut butter mixture. Smooth all the way to edges.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set. Remove from pan using the tinfoil sling. Use a large knife to cut into bars. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Good luck not eating all of them, this is what happened to my batch before I could get them in the fridge!
If you need me I will be running around the block a couple hundred times!
